Winery & Wine Sales Herl

 Heurigerlokal Herl tavern is located in the center of the wine region Carnuntum in the Petronell Carnuntum market town on the street Kirchengasse 16. Our vineyards are located in part on Roman walls between the Danube and Leitha river. In our company, the grapes are harvested by hand and processed in press of our own. The majority of the grapes are "Grüner Veltliner" and "Blauer Zweigelt". In other vineyards we plant Welschriesling, Pinot Blanc, Riesling, Blaufränkisch, and more recently we planted some vineyards with the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Our Cabernet Sauvignon is almost entirely processed for our "Cuvée Hadrian". The cozy tavern with a summer terrace and a children's corner provides a pleasant atmosphere, excellent quality wines and homemade specialties like sausages, bacon, salami, Romans ham, etc. Whether you order traditional dishes or "wine-specialties," here it tastes to anyone! The kitchen of our tavern is well known and popular. With us you will enjoy delicious homemade meals and quality can be found from the sandwiches to plates with cheese, meat and sausage varieties. Traditional dishes such as crackling strudel and Schmergebäck are served for dessert to complete our offer. Since the dishes vary according to season, you will find our current offer in our tavern.
