Our traditional tavern and Alpine hotel is located in the middle of the hiking, ski and cross country paradise of the Dachstein Tauern Region and the Sportwelt Amade - see the map. Our family run Taferne hotel is to be found near by the famous Schladming ski center. The area is known for its family friendlyness, the high snow safety and for their many ski chalets in wonderful sunny locations. Tradition and modern thinking are united in our hotel with 60 beds. In addition, you can reach our Alpine chalet for events and seminars in approximately 25 walking minutes from our tavern. In our restaurant you find a cosy rest room, a rustical dining room, a breakfast room with a meadow, a sun terrace and once a week barbecue. All rooms in our hotel dispose of a shower, toilet, Sat-TV, phone and balcony. Furthermore our hotel is equipped with a sauna, bar, elevator (our house is wheelchair adapted, too), heated outdoor swimming pool 20m x 9m with children's pool 3m x 9m, playground and playing field ... and many more are at your disposal. Our experienced staff has a sense of friendly and personal service. To our guests count families with children, business travelers, bus groups, private guests and transients.
